The thing is he’s immature and was rude and when you see the difference in how he and the duchess act despite being the same age. The duchess is responsible and many seem to praise her for her great deeds. He just seems like a trouble maker.

He has every right to be suspicious but he shouldn't curse someone out before even meeting them. On that point, he should already know better than to be so prejudiced.

I know. Besides he was supposedly in the area, but didn't even visit his supposed close cousin for almost a year? Even if his cousin turned to a monster, at least check up on him and maybe look for a cure or info about the curse... Like wow...then he even complains that his cousin didn't leave the fortune to him....double wow....smh...
uhm but he said he did visit (and ran off cus he saw a monster in the cage) and also if i were in his position i probably would have given up too, after all this curse has been in his family for hundreds of years and NO ONE has been cured before him. Thats a really hopeless situation to be in.
im also pretty sure that him asking why thereode didn't leave his fortune to him is a joke. they seem to be pretty close so i really don't think he was being serious with that remark
Didn't seem like he was joking about the fortune because even the ML said the curse was so abrupt that he didn't have time.
Even though he came and ran away, he could've at least visited the manor to find out what was going on...maybe then the ML wouldn't have been hoodwinked by so many of his supposed supporters...
HE'S A KID. HE'S 19. Not a single person in their family has escaped the curse, and all of those married into the family were tricked into it and most likely raped/murdered by the family members as beasts. Suddenly your bother, who was supposed to stay human until he was 20, but turned early for some reason, marries a stranger who willingly comes into the castle and he's miraculously human? I would be very concerned as well, and slightly mad. I would be bitter and resentful that there was an actual cure for the curse that didn't show up earlier. You guys need to stop asking for him to be physically hurt and just wish for him to take some time to get to a calm place where he's able to listen and grow.
