I don't understand the Param hate

I honestly don't get why people hate Param so passionately, he and Hwi weren't dating when he hooked up with Han, and he also wasn't sure about his feelings. Liking two people can't be easy and it's bound to become messy if both of them come on to you, and you find them both attractive. That would definitely confuse me idk about other peeps tho ╮(￣▽￣)╭
