The H stands for 'hentai', the Japanese word for pervert(ed) and what many people call anime porn. Also, 'ecchi' is the way Japanese people pronounce H and you'll find that some people refer to hentai as 'ecchi-stuff' as well as 'H-stuff'

ecchi is the same thing. I've hard from animes that are in those categories use them differently in a sentence but still meaning the same thing. the person going to do "perverted" stuff.
