It's logical in her logic... She don't want to have sex, unless it is for conception but as she is a hardcore perfectionist, she cannot accept to let herself not be perfect when the moment will come
She didn't thought of that with her ex cause at that time, she didn't even know how she would react from a sexual stimulation. But now, she knows and her hardcore perfectionist side cannot take it.
She cannot ask her ex again but she can go to a man -only interested in sex- and make a agreement with him: Train her, without feelings involved and make her skilled for her first time.
That's funny logic but logic all the same.
I really like her tho. She is the definition of a proactive person (and it's consensual. We need to praise it)

Okay lmao you do you. I just started my opinion while I thinking about some realistic logic into it. It's a fiction at the end. If you enjoy it, then it's good. Personally I can't. Could've gotten into it if I read it when I first started reading shoujo mangas. But now I can't. I've read better shoujo mangas and can't be satisfied with this kinda plot so there you have it.
Also people don't need training for sex. It's just a normal way of life. It doesn't need perfection. At least when it's for the first time. The things you told about in your 2nd and 3rd paragraph, I already mentioned about them in my first comment. Anyway in the end it's just a fiction.

Oh well, for the Shojo part, I don't dislike it as we don't have a poor fl being weak against an overpowering and sexual male lead. If it is smutty -and I think it is, as it has the same name "Game" as the one the author wrote before- it is refreshing to see a FL proactive for once. (Yes I'll take it, even if it's not the best. I have only a few of straight smutty romances without any rape-like sentences so I can't afford to be picky ahah)
And I agree on you on the fact that you don't need to be perfect for sex. But that's my logic, not hers. Actually, I kinda understand her logic, with her background and the fact that she's still young. But I think it's a promising permise: I mean, she will obviously evolve on sex education, understand the importance of the partner, sexual desire and the fact that it isn't some kind of textbook and I'm down for that. That manga can actually really be sex positive and it can be a great things for younger girls. (Plus, this author actually wrote Game: aka the smutty manga where the FL is actually amazing. I can't spoil but let me just say that: The FL isn't going to take any shit and the ML is still regretting it. AH! In your ass, asshole!)

I agreee. That was just so weird. So she realized maybe she might be interested in sex and other intimate acts and she decides to do that with someone who has sex with a bunch of people instead? Forget about how she's worried she might make a mistake with her first time, what about this guy maybe having stds since he fucks around a lot? Can you even trust this stranger with your body? If she's worried about doing it right for in the future, why not get an actual boyfriend and just learn like that, you know, like normal people? I know the author just went with this option for plot sake so I've gotta suspend my belief here, but at the same time, it would have helped better if the author didn't choose a FL that's supposed to be someone smart

Yepyep, it's really weird! Like, she isn't happy about her boyfriend only going after her body, so then she chooses another guy who... only goes for her body? At the same time she might have been upset because she trusted that her ex really liked her, but on the flipside--can she even trust the ML? Just because he's experienced, she thinks it makes sense to do those things with him, but it really doesn't. She doesn't know him but she's putting her body, her safety and also her morals into his hands. What if he doesn't respect her boundaries? What if he forces himself on her? These are all things this girl, who is supposed to a smart FL, just ignores even though all of those things can happen. There's honestly a reason why people want to share their first intimate acts with someone they trust, like a boyfriend. It's because you can't just trust a stranger not to hurt you. But youknow, manga logic doesn't care about things making sense pff lol
This girl's logic is so stupid. She could've asked her boyfriend to teach her. And he only wanted to kiss her then. Let's say she realized whatever she did after seeing two people doing it. But where's the logic behind asking someone you don't know to teach you lol. Just tell your husband to teach you when you get married lmao.
