Oh yes I agree with u , honestly he is kinda realistic character in real life no body just helps a needy person selflessly ,cause nobody loves to do charity and this is reality u just have to except it ,and all the ppl in comment section saying seme is so mean are probably the fucking 14 yrs olds who hardly know about the world but love act like hypocrite cause tbh if u put ur self in seme's shoes then firstly acting sympathetic and providing for a stranger is such a hassle and u can't just start caring about every fucking stranger in the world but still he did help the uke and secondly if someone kisses u in sleep it literally would creep the hell Outta u so I totally understand his cold attitude
And you just gave a really good point, I thought that too in the chapter where he get kissed and angrily rejects uke, like if it was the other way round we would be hella mad with seme for do it without his permission but since it was the 'poor' uke we feel sorry for him, uke's going thru an bunch of unfortunate flow of events and seme just wants his peace back, like he can say things more nicely but according his personality and events it's somehow understandable
The more I think about it the more I understand the Seme, and think the author made a ver interesting decision letting us view the story through his eyes:
He lends a hand to his cousine (who is honestly a stranger to him) who was in grave troubles, and went overboard when he was drunk but kept his word nevertheless. Being a little cunt, he lets his obviously hard-worker cousine slowly take over domestic chores. He would justify letting this happen with "he's a person I'm doing a favor, this is his way of paying back". Then he gets kissed (or sexually harassed since he was asleep) by his own cousine. All the pity and affection he had developed turns into disgust and pettiness from both feeling betrayed and annoyed. When his cousine is finally gonna leave, he gets ill and very weak so Seme's sense of responsability and pitty come back, and takes care of him. Then his pitty keeps letting his cousine stay at his house, which interrupts and gives a weird impression to the people he wants to get close to so he doesn't want him to be seen, but still has enough sense of responsability to not literally kick him out forever.
In other words, Seme is a very empathetic and impulsive person that will help people if he feels bad for them, but also an insecure and annoyed man that will distrust easily and project his own malice onto others. It's like his personality is a constant struggle of selflessness VS selfishness.
It's honestly pretty neat and realistic even if it hurts to watch, and there can be a great character development if the author so wishes.
