everyone keeps saying that it's boring and too slow but it's only been 20 chapters lol. I actually really appreciate that she didn't do a complete 180 when rift took her out of the castle because it's more realistic and really showcases her overcoming her bad mental health with rift's unknowing help.
(lol he thinks she was treated as a queen and keeps wondering if the dresses he buys are good enough and how his own castle isn't good enough to her extravagant tastes when in reality she doesn't know anything.) <--another reason to be proud of her bc after all that neglect and abuse she still got things moving despite being unsure of what's good or not and she's taking INITIATIVE now instead of cowering in a corner being unsociable.
