Umm, i think thats because he diddnt like the thought that the alpha diddnt like him and he was just like that (nice.caring,ect.) to him because it was just his 'duty' to protect him, he was just misunderstanding the alpha tho. Not sure abt this but, this is how i understood it
I agree. That is what it looked like. It would have just been great if he thought about his actions before carrying them out.
