i wish he would've been punished for not loving his actual children and made the child of his mistress the crown prince instead. even in the end, he apologizes but alicia tells him she isn't the one to be sorry bc they were never family (she doesn't see him as her father) but to libertia who isn't in this world anymore. he's only sorry bc he heard about the experiments the uncle did to the twins. ik the author didn't want the characters to be "villains" but the shitty emperor should've had something happen to him bc i'm hateful lmaoo
