This is true... But she also seems to have a pretty weird thing against humans.. and a portion of her wanting to be selfish for being the only one who he could be with "normally" might play into this.. honestly communication would have solved this but drama doesn't happen for no reason.
ok but why is this all so true....like the point of view that the story is in is so selfish because it’s only considering what nene wants and because of that, in the end he’ll probably become a lion again. it’s no small thing to be able to just simply walk around town and buy things and interact with people and be seen with your girl without being treated like shit but the story treated it like it was. but i would like the story better if shishi stayed human and got to live the normal life he wanted and nene came to love him just the same. because to me shishi’s past pain trumps what nene is starting to feel. hers is temporary but he’s been feeling like shit his whole life.
Just wanted to point out to the people that might say or think he should have considered what she wanted when he changed, or that he should respect that she loved him as a beats not human, or that he should love himself....
Can we please see that there are TWO people here. One of which has been treated badly cause of how he looks.
I am sorry but this situation should be about understanding both people. I get that she loved him the way he was, but he hated how he was critized, avoided, cursed, and even having her critized as a result. He has wanted to talk to others, eat with them, and be able to walk hand in hand with her in town without being gossiped. He has wanted to be human and " normal" for so long.
Like I cried a bit when he asked if he was scared of his face. He is also afraid his big dick and claws will hurt her more than it was human. He hated how the town people talk behind his back and how others are judging her just for being with him. By calling her a gold digger and crazy.
Besides that he has wanted to be human for ever and doesn't like being treated or seen as a beats. The girl even though she complicated him by saying he is more like a beats without realizing she threw a blade into his insecure back.
I am sorry but based on what the beat has went through, I see no fault in him transforming. It didn't seem like his personality has changed either, he just finally got to do all the things he has wanted to do. I really just feel bad for him. It feels ike in a way the girl is rejecting the person he has always wished he could be.
