I'm pretty sure there are TONS people spoiling it everywhere but i'll try to explain it even though my english is not perfect.
So you know Soviet is the one asking a one sided divorce right? But he actually had plan to take Navier back after a year(he just wanted to get Rashta's child a royalty so he can get a royal heir) but Navier, my queen, asked a permission to remarried right away(originaly, a divorced empress is NOT allowed to get remarried) but the priest feel pity of her so he allowed it right away.
And Soviet, this sonofabih, got so SHOCKED he barricade Navier's palace with tons of soldier preventing her and Henley to return to Eastern Kingdom, basically locking them.
They got away with Duke Edgy help(is it his name? I forgot lol) and they return to Eastern Kingdom safely.
Well in the novel some problem arise after Navier go to Eastern Kingdom because the current Queen is still Crista(Henley sister in law) and people favor Crista so much, but Navier is actually the future Queen, because she already married to Navier they just hadn't had the wedding yet.
Soviet found out about Navier well being, he read an Eastern Kingdom's newspaper where Navier said that she actually heard about the divorce before, and Soviet, the ugh seewer rat, thought that Navier is misunderstanding, that she didn't heard about the one year contract, so he with all of his audacity that he got, sent a letter secretly, believing that if she know about his plan she will come back to him.
Oh yeah and btw, right after the divorce Soviet said "I want you to stay with me in the palace because we all know Rashta can't do any shit"
And Navier said "Lol who tf are you?"
And when Soviet locked them in the palace he storm off to the gate and screamming like a mad man saying to Henley that he stole his wife and shit. And Henley just said "Well, she's no longer your wife after you divorce her, now she is MY wife." And Soviet's secretary as sooo ashamed he said "Bro, people are watching" and just then he want to go.
