Look back to the beginning. She told him she wanted to marry him to be safe and he just wanted a wife who was like a doll. If they break the contract they have to leave one another. They love each other but they silence themselves because for him he has never felt this better so he is scared of losing her. He believes she doesn't love him but is capable of getting hurt by his actions. She believes that he cannot love her because of what type of man he has shown himself to be. They are both just scared that the other doesn't feel the same way and if they speak on it. It might ruin everything they have. If that makes sense to you.
But ML also said they really didn't inlude in the contract what will happen once its broken. They just wrote what they have to follow. No consequences included. Lol if I was there, I'll freakin burn that contract. I mean, they look so good with each other. Enough with the dramas pls. I jjst want them to be happy. Live, love, love then have plenty of babies
I believe it is caused by inner conflict..
1. Hue scared of affection.. Like he stated he will give back as much as he receive (life principal).. Due to losing his beloved twin bro.. He is scared to love or having affection towards anything anymore because he did not want to suffer the pain of loss.
2. Hue is scared of rejection.. He already felt deeply hurt hearing that Lucia stated that she will never love him (although this is not true, but Hue doesn't know that).. Just from hearing this without her knowing his true feeling has deeply hurt him.. He is scared that he will be more hurt if Lucia rejected his feeling whilst kniwing he looks ve her would hurt himself more.. Thus, he is sort of in the state of denial.. Half thinking : even without knowing she already not love me + all the negative thoughts she have of him as a playboy.. Half maybe : because she has not known.. This is not the endgame rejection, lets tell her when i think she would say yes..
Maybe because I've never been in love, but I don't really get it. FL knows she love him. ML knows he love her. Then why won't they confess? I mean, the ML already said that no divorce will be allowed. He said too that he won't have any other woman. It was so obvious of how they treat each other, that they feel special towards the other. They should just demolish the contract.
