She's better in the novel at least in my opinion. She has way more growth and character development in the novel. She also goes through a sexual awaking. The novel is pretty spicy. The sex scenes are very long and super descriptive.

im still not sure if i should read the novel.. half of the time i find maxi annoying altho i understand her circumstances but damn the overthinking and overly low self esteem and not speaking her mind just makes me so tired
