biggest plothole

i cant not unthink the way how this story describes the mls colorblindness. bc hed need to learn what the colors are before describing them. eg. he'd learn that like an apple is the color red. but obvi, he doesnt see red. so how tf is he able to tell the difference between the "red" the actual gray he sees? also bc of that, when he first sees the fl's hair, he wouldnt have actually ever seen red before, so he wouldnt be able to describe it as red.

    I was thinking about this too! My theory is maybe that they began learning monotheistic colors in the darker variety first..? i.e Black, White, and Gray, and then he assumed everything else was the same? Red, being the only color he can distinguish, was the easiest to separate from the others...?
