I guess the vampire calls Ken his "sun" due to his bright blonde hair and also, it can be interpreted as his good side (light -Ken/dark -vampire). The sun is also in most vampire lores something harmful or even fatal to vampires, so Ken can be seen as the vampire's weakness or even his demise at the end of the story.
And Agia himself seems to be the God of death, bounded to the God of the moon (Ken)
So the story says that the moon was eaten by a monster, so if the vampire is the monster the human form of the vampire was the moon? And the “monster” turned him into a vampire.
So the grey haired vampire was the moon and somehow turned into a vampire and currupted?
Otherway the MC was the moon and was killed by the vampire, and the current mc is a reincarnation of the moon. But in this case i don’t understand why the vampire calls him “sun”, that a bit confusing.
The only candidate i can think fo “Death” is the tanned church man that asks the MC to “fall in love with him”
Btw i love this already and it reminds me so much of “Sun’s Blood” wich i recommend!!
