Huh. Well, in my perspective it seems like he's trying to look out for his friend by testing the partner's he's with. Maybe he has feelings for Tetsuji but i don't think he's trying to pursue it.

But if he is then to hell with him :)

Perhaps he knows about that lady Tetsuji keeps remembering. And is trying to help his friend in his own way. He seems like such an extra person.

Also I'm sure that lady or the memory of her is the real problem. Oh and the creepy old man from Kaneda's workplace. Creepy af
