Ever since I found out he got raped and took his life, I have been crying so much cos i’m so pissed off and my chest feels very heavy. I’m just here wondering why no one bothered to tell a teacher that something like this was going on until the best friend killed himself. Tbh yes that's depressing, but i think the victim also hides them because even untill now for a male (even female) to get raped, there are still little action for them to seek justice :( maybe He also don't want to reveal that he's the victim :( because for a male to got raped is sometime very embarrassing (for them) and they also can be judged negatively by some ignorant passerby (like- "he got what he deserve to be gay/ tk be pretty/ to seduce", and etc. This is real, even victim get negative views). That's why in the manga sometimes there are phrase like "you will tell that you got raped? Will you embarrassing yourself?" Which is sad and fucked up.
So i think the bestfriend is in a dilema he can't tell anyone about the harrassment, and stressed. And his parter also didn't help him or anything... so he choose to end it :(

I’m sorry, I don't completely agree with this. You know why? The first time the friend got bullied was cos they went through his phone and found out he's gay. Then the best friend told them the uke knew nothing about him being gay and asked him to leave. He cared enough to want to save him, even though he was being bullied.
I understand that the uke was too scared to speak up for him and save him but why did he just leave? Why didn't he leave and go straight to a teacher to say some bullies were currently beating up someone? For someone he claimed was his first love, he didn't care enough to try to save him?
He didn't have to say why he was being beaten. It wouldn’t have escalated to rape then because it would have been handled earlier than that before it escalated. I just can't bring myself to forgive the uke and I hope he never gets over his trauma. That's just where I stand. I already decided not to continue reading the story.
He could have helped if he truly wanted to. from the very first day it all started; walk up to a teacher or the principal and say “so-and-so is being beaten up by bullies in so-and-so place”. Unless in Asian schools, bullies aren’t actually dealt with by teachers or the school? I see it happen a lot in these mangas and webtoons and it's always surprising to me.

it's not as easy as you thought... the uke too has many dilemas. I'm not speaking like this because i'm in the bullies side. In the manga he too also feeling guilty for not doing eveything he got for helping his friend. But i think i understand why he hesitate and didn't just report to the authority or the teacher. reporting the bullies to the teacher may sounds like good idea, but the act of impulse may even make the friend in even more difficult position y'know.
This is not only about the bully happens at school, he got bullied because of his sexuality. Which is a very sensitive subjects, cuz not in every country accept them yet.
Like i already told you before, even the victim gets negative views? society is harsh, man. What if after the MC reports the bully to the teacher, the teacher may help the boy. But they will also inform this to the parents. The parents? Will probably in horror to know that their son is being raped and also gay (which is because not every household accept gay, sadly.). Their household will be a mess. The whole class will also know his sexuality, even more touble. He will get those pity eyes. It will never the same. The bullies? Will probably tell everyone some trashy untrue words about our dear freind. Who knows, man.
It will be disaster. If this is happend, you will get him in a very difficult position.
And if he could hang on and be strong, maybe everything may slowly be alright. But unfortunaltely as you can see that our dear friend right here can't be pressured no more.
Well, not all asians school like that. Even oversea school still sometimes not caring about bullies and stuff. Lol. Untill the victim braven themself and got evidence. Then, the school will act. I know, that's sad. Society is harsh~
I'm not blaming the MC because he did care. He tried to help the friend by just becoming an emotional support for him But the friend is closing himself from the MC to protect the MC from the the bullies black wash... that's why MC is so schocked to see him being harrassed in the toilet. it's complicated man.

Okay. I feel a little bit better because of how you just explained it all to me and I’m actually glad we talked about this because now I can find a way to feel some sympathy for the uke. Every time I try to read the story and I remember that panel, I start to cry. I mean, I can be a bit tolerating if he had only gotten some beatings and gotten harassed (since we can’t seem to avoid that in yaois), but the fact that he actually got raped is too much for me to handle.
I know sexual harassment can still be termed as “rape” but in yaoi, I have learned to condition myself to separate the two because as long as the perpetrator doesn't “put it in”, I can try to tolerate it.
The actual act of rape is what I can’t cope with, no matter how much I want to. It’s just too much for me.
But thank you all the same. I feel a whole lot better now but I think it’s best I don't continue with the story. I was expecting something fluffy and funny after all. I would find other stories to read

Well indeed, in Yaoi sometimes it can be wierd lol (￣∇￣") But... we gradualy undertands the different between real jerk criminals or "mistake route turns to love" in yaois (￣▽￣"). In gooogle too, if you search r*pe it will be an act of "violence" sometging someting.
So at least the victim is treated 'kindly' and no violance and threats, imma still sips my tea. And think hard that it was only a fiction.

I did peek the raws to the moment they first had sex and that was why I was so pumped up for this story until I saw the panel about the rape and got more information from comments.
I would just stay away for a while and see if I can find the courage to continue later.
