If the spoilers are true he is a really single minded person. And what is worse is that his impressions of her have little to do with knowing about her life. Its all tiny snippets that he gets when they swap bodies, or second hand(apparently his mother has been lying about the FL to the ML. Which is why he is surprised that the maids mistreat her and thinks that she likes plain dresses) Like it seems that switching bodies is the only reason why he has been talking to his wife at all. How the fuck do you not even talk to your wife? Love her or not she is your wife!! If he has a problem with her he should hash it out, not leave it to his mother.
According to spoilers he did have a rough time growing up. We as readers know tho that the FL wanted/wants to get closer to him. She would be there to support him emotionally if he would let her. But he's too busy being too much of a dick.
It seems like (I don’t know korean so I could be way off) the FL tells the ML she tried to commit suicide and then he gets mad cause he had a much more rough life than she has had that makes me MAD
