Daniel is the head of the assassins' guild(not a spoiler btw) In the previous chapters the crown prince originally hired Daniel to kill Libertia, but she came wearing the veil which signals [defeat, giving up succession of the crown], so the prince put that on hold ╮(￣▽￣)╭
