Uhhh why does the gender matter? So long as the characters have good dynamics and are well-developed and written, how does the gender of the MC contribute to the quality of the story? And you adding that you're a fujoshi just makes it seem like you're fetishizing... :) Like I'm genuinely curious why you want the MC to be a guy. Explain if you can, please. (=・ω・=)
I didn't hate the story though, but actually i like it. What I'm saying is, that I'm hoping that somewhere out there, there would be a BL story like this.(a plot like this but BL)

I personally like the pan/bisexual representation. There are plenty of historical BL to be read. This is an interesting twist and my pan ass loves it. Of course, the adopted sibling thing is pretty weird, but I’m borderline used to it at this point lmao.
