It's such a misunderstood family. Maybe they have a genetically indifferent face and personality. But I can totally get the father. My father wasn't very close to me but I still knee that he loved me and cared about me. He didn't let me do "anything" but provided me with most of the things I wanted. He passed away 2 weeks ago and my only regret is that I didn't talk to him much. Because we both have same personality where it's difficult to show affection to our loved ones so I think I can understand the father and brother (? probably?).
