At this point, I have no idea which of Hye-sungs parents I should trust. Like his father invoked trauma, but so did his mom... Mom left dad abused.

Maybe Mom had some reason she couldn't look for Hye-sung? Like financial or maybe she had an accident and forgot? Wow, the situation is so complicated I can't wait to see how they will tackle this unfortunate turn of events :D
