The last part of the side stories kinda explained why Hyung was overprotective to Hosik. Seems like they got reincarnated and Hyung made a vow to always protect Hosik once they meet again.
I mean, you can see that Hyung became a stalker and after marriage, he got more possessive of Hosik.
