idk mcs father (ser zackery) is depicted pretty harshly too but I'm pretty sure he's not biologically her father so I think we're good (￣∇￣")
aside from the fact they look nothing alike there's alot of foreshadowing backing this up
Look like heinous trashabags? this story is seriously lacking in likable characters (i dont care about most of the ones introduced at all) let alone any decent character development. Of course EVERYONE has to be out to hurt the protagonist, even the maids lmao, they really dont get enough of victimizing her. when she planned to escape I knew the author wouldn't let her succeed on her own, that would involve giving your main lead (say it with me now..) AGENCY which she doesnt have. things just happen TO HER, but she doesnt move anything to action herself.
as you go along..you notice, its a staple with a lot of female protagonists..
male leads often change the course of story with their decisions so it feels like it matters more. things move and change in accordance to them. I'm not saying there aren't exceptions but generally this is the way it goes.. (〜￣△￣)〜 I just wish the lead wasn't depicted so weak
