And for SL it's just that Im salty bcs there are so much masterclass novel (with their adaptation) but SL is the only noticed webcomic in EU (don't know about the other country) (so I think some pick here and there will do no wrong) Even more when said Novel is compared to other work and the fans will say "Omg it look like SL" even though it do not (I call it the MDZS Syndrome)

Most all of the SL fans that hold it on a pedestal above everything else and constantly compare other mangas to SL are the ones who, i like to say, jumped the walls and flocked into otaku land without going through inspection cause they had nothing better to do during quarantineand I was so excited to see the novel I had been reading since forever get a manga but ended up having to educate normies every 5 min. who were literally spamming totally unrelated mangas that they were copies or rip off of SL, so everytime I see someone mention SL I'm just like "oh boy, here we go again"
