He didn't, the stalking doesn't apply to him but generally to characters. But the author could've just not made her trip and successfully handling the problem. Which she was capable of. Until they made her trip. Which was unneeded, there's no reason to have that happen except "oooh it's so romantic that he saves her from this situation" and gives an opportunity for him to scold the lady, which means the FL mustering up the courage to talk back to the rude lady was absolutely pointless. DJ is coming to save the day anyway

Well it piqued my interest so I just wanted to mention that the author used an archetype, a very overused one which is saving the damsel in distress, she could have not use it but she did it anyways, and that's completely alright because that's the flow in which the story is built on, it just makes the story not very different from other stories

Why can't we ever see women accomplishing things on their own, why do all people think it's super romantic for dudes to basically stalk their gfs to save them from apparent danger despite them being fully capable of handling it??
Also, unless they're in the late stages, pregnant women can very much do physical activity. It's not bad for them, nor for their baby.
