Well he kinda saw his death and everyone else's death so yea it was a deja Vu in chapter one , especially what he said about mikasa's hair also the see you later.

I think it is a loop that probably has 2 paths.
First path is keeping Historia as a breeding machine.
Second path is just genocide like he told Mikasa.
Idk all this time I was thinking this would end like Lelouch but didn't realize it would end like Futurama LOL.
