No i know paul is unable to bear a child, my point is that Lucius was able to bear another womans child, which in my eyes makes it hard to see that he still loves Paul
that's his duty as the king, he cant say i wont have kids with the concubines because that would not only put him in a bad position but the girls as well, they already have enough to pressure provide an heir but if he wont even try then they would just be shamed and paulina wouldn't want him to jeopardize the country for her

at some point she was seeing the doctor about not having a mensural cycle but they said that it was making a return. I don't know where everyone is getting this she can't have kids thing from. It is an Acrean superstition that if women see blood they can't have children. ( that makes no sense, you know periods and what have you.) I believe Pauliana can have kids just not at this time because her cycle is a mess.
Ugh i loved this story but now that the concubine is pregnant, and we all know what that means, the progress for the FL went from slow to backwards.... Id love to read a good slow burn but this isn't even slow, its backwards so for now im dropping this #－.－) i may come back but its almost stupid at this point
