Well their family is full of shits after doing that all to charlize they want her to come back it's freaking annoying
The brothers literally ONLY exist to live in regret. They're not written with good motivations or even a personality. They only exist in the story to feel sorry for her as though it's just deserts for them. It's really not fleshed out at all or purposeful since they're just a plot device for Charlize to literally ignore every time they're around as though she 'won' something from snubbing their encounter, which means very little since she's a Mary Sue character and we haven't seen her work hard for anything yet. So far it's been 'she used to work hard for their affection but didn't get any' and there's a lame explanation as to why 'because her mom died in labor'
So all in all, sorry but don't expect much out of them.
Unlike the older brother who was blinded bitter and anger by the death of his mother. he KNEW what they were doing to Charlize was wrong but still wanted a half in and half out a relationship with her. Not fully acknowledge her to appease his father and brother but get satisfaction from her desperation to be accepted and feel superior if he gave her empty gestures of "affection" in secret. His mother would be turning in her grave if she realised the son who told her, he would grow up to protect his sister became a spineless coward that forsaked his promise.
