The fl had her reasons for partying and disregarding the child. I’m not saying it’s a good thing or that she should be forgiven (which the child and the husband is the only one who should believe if they can forgive her or not.) but depression is a serious issue. And the husband was also out of line and said some things just like the wife did. They’re both in the wrong and they’re slowly starting to clear some misunderstandings. Let’s just be neutral and not pick sides until you get the full story from both sides. The husband side will be coming soon.

He love her its true but in what way did he showed it? Fl isn't the only one responsible with how THEIR child grew up. Its true that Harsen is there for the child but all he did is to make sure he will have a 'perfect heir' and for pete's sake, a husband should be with his wife especially during pregnancy. Okay fine he is a duke that's why he was hella busy but still? He can't even find sometime for his pregnant wife? Moreover, during her pregnancy many bad things lile her father died n her sister had miscarriage and no one was on her side for emotional support. She was all alone. And her attending the parties was i think her escape mechanism as she was and still experiencing depression. Though the fl neglecting her son is definitely not okay and I am not justifying that action. I am only sharing why I empathize with the fl. Harsen's feeling about being the 'best choice' is something that I understand but we might as well also understand that this era wasn't favorable for women. While men can be anything, women on the other hand were treated as nothing but someone who should rely in men and a baby producer with sucks so much. It means that women were pressured in marrying and for someone who came from a prestigious family (women from their family were destined to be a queen) imagine how heavy it is.
Anyhow, I also hope that we can get more of Harsen's thoughts and get more scenes where they communicate well and resolves their issues because its true, their child didn't deserve any of this. Im sorry for blabing so long lol

He did but I think he was not in war for 9 months of fl's pregnancy. There's a chapter when it stated that Harsen and the fl weren't able to see each other because he was soooo busy even though the both of them were in the same mansion. Anyway, I'm also kinda disappointed with the way the knights treat her.

I agree. I absolutely hate the way the knights treat her. They think she some dumb spoiled rich girl with no problems when in reality she really smart and was suffering from depression. If they actually took the time to know her and understand her side instead of just looking from the outside they’ll know her better. But I absolutely loved that the female stuck up for the fl it made me so happy that someone actually see how much she suffering.
Don’t get me wrong im not on either of their sides since i feel bad for the both of them they both have troubles in their lives and I’m not gonna put down either of their issues and they just really need to talk it out and clear the misunderstandings but until then im staying neutral.

We need more people like that knight's wife. I am so happy that we got to see them lovely and commuticating this recent chapter ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ and I also hope for the misunderstanding to clear up and for the all of them to be happy, though i think it will be a long emotional ride but I'm rooting for themヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~

It's proably the 'never spending time with her to develop a human relationship' bit. His social skills seem hella low and he doesn't seem like the type who knows how to show emotions. I mean I get it, I appear to be emotionless as well, but even I (a complete airhead who has no friends and also might be autistic but can't get herself tested because if anyone in my family found out, I might as well be calling myself crazy/insane) know that you need to develop a connection with people and to do that you must spend time with them and talk to them.
Plus his words are hella cruel. The MC did not mean to be mean towards him by saying what she said, she didn't even realize that someone could intepret those words badly. However his words were like knives. Mocking people for trying to change for the better is so counter productive.
I dont understand why everyone hates the duke. Like everyday he just loves the FL but she kept saying "best choice" like what?!! And disregarding the child for parties? For pete's sake who would stay strong with that?! I want the author to be fair not just empathising with the fl's emotion.
