Yeah fuck sterotypes
The worst part about it is that it comes from a guy who is from the LGBTQ+ community himself. You would think he would know better. But then again, sexuality and gender identity do not have any barring on how crass a person can be or is.
i think it long before all homosexuals were all friends. Gays and lesbians were very distant from each other and thats where stereotypes came from. But even now a days i see lot stereotypes on tiktok (cough bisexual cough) so i just seen that way unfortunately
WHY would ANYONE think it is okay to tell a member of the LGBTQ+ community that they "don't look" whatever they identify as? Would they like it if people said "Hey, you don't LOOK straight"? It is cruel and vicious and shows a complete lack of humanity in my opinion. You do NOT get to "disqualify" another person just because they aren't like you.
Seriously, this hurts just reading, and I'm just an outsider looking in. I can only imagine the pain for people who have had to deal with these kinds of prejudices in their lives. Especially from their own families and people they once thought were friends.
