I would suggest reading more of it. I've read the novel and I find the plot so amazing. At times I find myself being bored of the many smut scenes but what I find more interesting is the s
plot. If your main issue with the story is lucia and how she acts I think the novel makes it much more easier to understand her thoughts and actions. She's not actually from commoners blood and that fact plays a huge part of the plot later on in the story. Sure shes very frail and blushy but that would only make sense since while she does have her past memories to guide her. She never felt true affection like she has now and it was just the kiss that made her fall for him it was the constant show of affection for lucia that made her finally fall. Also while she's heard about his rude and harsh behavior he needs her to fulfill things in the future so shouldn't she at least expect to be treated with respect. In the beginning of there marriage she has no one other then maids, a butler, and her husband im sure she was already feeling lonely and wanted to at least have a convo with her husband during dinner

Aaaaaand??? She was the one who pushed marriage and she know it and shiuld not have expected it. If i were having those dreams i would have been tooootaally okay if he did not show up, opposite, i would have been very happy. I can use recources as wife and would not have done cleaning. She is still unreasonable. And again, as i thought ppl will push her sickly naivety and blushing to her past as well as her fast fall in love. Bruh, still bc of kiss she started loving him, is unpleasant idea. She did not had even a single other thing to love him in the beginning beside kiss or she is just constantly horny

Also she understand that every other girl could have taken her place. The conditions are sooo simple - just dont fall in love with duke. But also duke is too unreasonable for changing his behavior. However, she should not have expected affection from the person she beforehand did not once met him, and the first time they saw each other was discussing the proposal. Idk how stupid is she to expect rude and person that hates the idea of marriage to go to her and act like a real husband with her when nobody is around just within month of their meeting....HOW?!?!?! And it is again unreasonable for her to expect smth from him and get offended when her wishes just do not happen, though they are just baseless thoughts... the character is sooo badly written truth be told. At least thanks that she is not acting as if she underwent critical trauma thought it is only dreams. And she is confident. But, thats all. And the duke...to ceel affection just bc of her eyes?? Oh..hut he likes her confidence, at least credit for this too. But firstly he is too rude especially after signing contract.

And dont get me wrong i liked her before her marriage, but after...like...how can a person who had nothing firslt be fine even with washing dishes and doing laundry but then after marriage without even having thanking thoughts she now can have delicious food and clean mansion without her involvement, she in opposite, displeased.... she started asking more as if changed from humble girl who had nothing to demanding one

While I disagree with you I do think that the webtoon doesn't compare to the novel and I would suggest reading that instead of the webtoon since it leaves key parts out in there. Another thing is she knew that one day she'll have to bed with him as an obligation. Like I said she fall for him bc he was treating her with affection constantly and the only other person who truly did that with her is her now dead mother. But it seems to me no matter how much I defend this novel you won't be able to change your mind on it so I would suggest not reading it if you get urked with simple things.

That is not simple things as every detail, her actions makes her character. And he only showed affection with kiss, and even at that moment he told beforehand that it was just only to be able to pretend. If that were the case i would have been unstead hurted not became affectionate. If you say she fall in love with constant show of affection of his, what did he do. Before their first night? He investigated? He was kind to her? The only thing to misenterpret was his kissing, and again he did it out of obligation. Even you said it. But, it is she who easily can be both manipulated, she is the one to easily misenterpret little things despite the awareness why person did some actions. And yes, i dont read novels bc of autors negligence to details and coming up with good reasoning of their characters.
