There is something called shock. A lot of people do that when in dangerous situation. They just freeze on the spot. There are different types of people. Some freeze others run, they can’t control it or think about it. People who run just do it without thinking not because they are thinking I should run but the body moves on its self. Some people freeze and are thinking to themselves that they should move but can’t. Idk if it’s like sleep paralysis where you can’t move any part of your body. I’m the scared but tries to face the situation and my sister is a runner. We did the scary maze where a girls face just pops up and screams. I screamed and closed my eyes and tried turning off the screen and my sister ran away. My initial reaction was to closed my eyes and scream and then I started turning off the screen but my sisters reaction was to run. We can’t control the reactions we have, it just happens. We’ve never been in a dangerous situation so we don’t know what our bodies will do. It’s easy to say run don’t just stand there but who knows maybe your body reacts that way in dangerous situations too. BUT never run or turn your back when encountering a big cat for example a lion because they will attack you, so the runners are dead in that situation. You are supposed to back away slowly always facing the big cat.
Yeah I know that exists, it's just I've seen so many of those in romance mangas that I've lost count, hence my frustration. And in this one it's even more frustrating (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

OK, so you lunge towards a fight. Logic says, you run away upon seeing a sword swinging towards you. Or even just dodging it. SO why the fucking hell, do these characters fucking close their eyes and just 'wait for it to happen' and then magically the ml comes in and saves the day ugh. I was already angry today, I am now more frustrated than ever.
