yes thank you, I was also wondering about the same thing. Like, did he like her in the past? And if he was fond of her, why didn't he help her when she needed him the most? She even looked for help from that black haired women for the medicine to cure her mom but she refused. So why didn't the duke help her? or did they not know each other?
Yes, I was wondering as well. I’m still confused about their full relationship, but if I remember correctly she mentioned that she first met him in a battlefield? Or like during the war? Something like that lol. And her mother was already sick and near her deathbed when the war started. So my guess is when she met the duke she was already by herself :( they seemed to be friends who had romantic feelings for each other but they’ve never acted it out. I hope they go more in depth since right now it’s a bit confusing to see him go above and beyond for her but we haven’t seen how deep their relationship was in the previous timeline lol.

Ok Im tryna wrap my head around the plot. So both the duke (or prince w/e) and her remember their past lives. The reason he was unable to help her in the original timeline is because they met later on, during the war, so most of her family were already dead. Now they’re back in the past, she’s trying to save her family, and I guess in a way he’s also trying to help her achieve her goals?
