I know it's just story but still an author always have the power to give the society new messages and change their perspective . So an author shouldn't write these.
Then say that to all authors who write about societal issues and authors of adapted movies that discuss those societal issues. We all know its wrong so why are you being so pissy abt it. You know its wrong and the author knows its wrong, so why give so much thought about a smut bl manga :<
1- he's not black, darkish skin does not equal to black, not everything is about you
2- in the south/south-east part of Asia, believe you or not, not everyone has the same skin colour even their culture is mostly homogeneous, some, most people have this honey coloured skin (specially in Thailand and China), they as a society favour lighter skin tones (shitty, as is to judge worth of anyone but colour or general appearance) but it's not related to the European manslaughter like here in the west

Despite that, I do agree. The character was tanned/had a darker skin tone, not a black person. Prejudice against people of darker skin tones is pretty universal. It's seen in the West, in India, in Korea, in Africa (people like to overlook this) and everywhere else.
Also, this is not the 1st time this concept is used as a plot point. And I do feel the author was trying to do something along the line of "society says your ugly, but you have great traits/are super cute", etc. Again not the 1st time this has been done.
Plus, his dark skin was one of many reasons why he was not attractive. It was not written that he should get plastic surgery because he has dark skin. He was also described as having a "plain-looking face". Plastic surgery, can't really do anything for his skin tone, but it could change his plain face. I'm pretty sure that's what that was about.
Overall, that story wasn't my favourite of the collection, but definitely not the worst of the three. And I don't understand why it's garnered this much irritation or upset.
I didn't mean black , ppl referred his type black that's why I told black didn't u see later I told dark skin . Don't ppl call white ppl too but are ppl white ?! The dog one story is bad just bcs he is black he is ugly and have to plastic surgery?? This is so lowly thoughts. How can he judge him by looks he still sexy with dark skin just he need to change hair style. Otherwise this manga is great specially 1st one
