I only know from other comments but Damien is the son of our main guys brother. So Damien is related to the Taran family.
I'm not completely sure how Damien was born since our main guys brother was someone who also disliked (I think) having children within the family but from some comment, It said the brother didn't know the girl he was with was related to him.
Remember, sons are only born from within the Taran family and girls are born from a Taran member and someone not related to the Taran family.
