I think initially I felt pity for her being so young and being manipulated, but after so long of no change, I really can't...
Jenette keeps saying she wants to be closer to the princess, but if you want to get close to someone, at the very least, show that you want to trust them, and that you have the resolve to be by their side and potentially get hurt in the process.
Such an odd character, I don’t like her, but not necessarily hate her. I don’t want her to rot in hell like other antagonists, but she’s also so annoying that I don’t want to see her. There’s nothing you can really admire from her. Intelligence? Nah. Charming?....nah. Humor? nope. Every time she has screen time I kinda just remind myself ‘oh it’s not her fault she’s just a kid, she’s being manipulated/ used blah blah blah...’ and try to justify every time she messes up. It’s kind of tiring really. Maybe it’s because of her naivety and the fact that she has such a wrong timing that makes her so hateful. Why does Anthy have to tell you about everything? Don’t you have a brain? You just take all the spoon-fed information without doubting him and yet you doubt Anthy? That’s being a pure hypocrite, my guy. She’s like a soulless puppet who can’t act or think of anything without the author moving the strings. At least, that’s my take on the characterization of Jeanette.
