So this instance wasn't nearly as bad but I am on the spectrum and was answering the phone for a tattoo shop, my friend while tattooing got a call so I was asking the customer if I could take a message but no he wanted his questions answered right then so my friend asks who is it? And I tell her and she apparently doesn't like this custom so says "uhg ask him what he wants..." so me not knowing how to reroute that into politeness apparently just plainly and with all seriousness said "she wants to know what you want?" And I didn't understand that the way I said it was rude cause I didn't get that when was being rude and I just relayed what she told me to! But she laughed and said she is actually glad that i was standoffish with him
