so as you said, in omegaverse, there are three roles assigned to people which is alpha, beta, and omega. the purpose of omegaverse is to have destined soulmates and more importantly that males can get pregnant, specifically only the males that are identified as omegas.

omegas generally have a heat once a month, kinda like a period except during this time they release pheromones instead of blood :D these pheromones can attract alphas. due to these heat cycles where they cannot control their pheromones and must take medication (which in most cases isn't effective enough to stop the pheremones), i believe that's why they are regarded at the bottom of societal hierarchy in most stories.

alphas on the contrary usually have very high social standings. they also have the ability to admit powerful pheromones that make omegas succumb and sometimes go into heat, but i believe they can control it at will and bring it out whenever they want.

so now specifically talking about pheromones and sex. when an omega omits strong pheromones during heat and an alpha smells it, it turns into a battle between consciousness and instinct for the alpha. if the alpha give into instinct and has sex with an omega during the omega's heat, then the male omega can become pregnant. if an alpha also marks the omega, usually through a bite on the neck, during the omega's heat, then they are bound together and become a "fated pair". once they are bound together, the alpha cannot affect other omegas with their pheromones, and omegas are the same with alphas; from then on, they can only use each other to get through omega heats and alpha ruts.

o and also betas are pretty much regular people lol bc they don't get affected by any pheromones whatsoever.

in social class which one is number one? alpha or beta?(i know its def not omega cus usually they got assaulted or something like that)
