theory:
I think the father is the crown prince.. someone used the white killer (drugs) to louis during the ball, it so happened that the crown prince met louis before the killer could get him.. and because of that "aprodisiac/truth serum" like drug, louis told crown prince that he wants him inside him , so it did happened..
the killer is obviously obsess with louis, he couldn't get louis so he tried to satiate his thirst for him by kidnapping black haired, white skin.. same with louis, but because he can't be satisfied unless its the true louis he ended up killing them after using/torturing them... thus, the serial killer incident take place..
and I think the killer is the duke who confessed to louis.. he also confessed to him during the ball but as louis said he would give time to think about it, I think that was when the duke was able to give him the drink with the drugs.. and when the drugs started to work and louis felt hot and uneasy he went to the balcony to get fresh air and coincidentally met the crown prince there..
Spoilers: crown prince and louis were close when they were little.. crown prince was actually in love with louis since they were young and louis also love the crown prince, actually the mc doesn't hate the crown prince, he finds him very handsome and he said that he felt weird inside (heart) and down there?.. actually he didn't mention "down there" but it was described as like twitching "there" and he felt embarrassed by it..( so it means that his heart feels tickles and his horny) so he always avoids him.. while the crown prince is upset that he was being avoided by louis, so he pester him all the time to get his attention.. eventually rumors about them hating each other started.. ( this is confirmed and true, from the novel)
