While most of you questioned why the mother didnt report it instead, I actually felt it. I was a victim of child abuse as well, and my Grandmother was the first to know. If it werent for my younger brother (7yo at that time) who saw the incident. Well, guess what happened next? She talked to the family of my abuser and just decided to move places. It was kept a secret to my parents for years and after knowing, ofcourse they were enraged. But no one ever dared to speak of it again. :)
You see, we have come to the time where we assume silence as peace and we'd rather silence our rebelling broken selves than face the haunting opinions of those around us. It sounds easy for stories and fictions such as this, but in reality, we are still slaves for the opinion of others. It is designed that way for no man is an island, so shall no man is completely free as well.

To be honest, this story is realistic, like it's really give chills down my spine, I wonder why the mother wouldn't report as soon as she saw that her son was almost raped, she's one of the dumbest characters in this story and I do feel bad for kel for a certain degree. Yes he was raped but then he not only raped yul, he had and watch cp and blackmailed yul. the only person I can say that I liked best was the girl, she was a complete badass in my opinion. And I wish they didnt end up together at the end. yul need therapy and for kel jail and therapy
