lmao i hate jeanette and her father....her father does not deserve pretty privilege. jeanette does have some bad things going on in her life and she is being used, but what i dislike abt her is how naive she is. i dont care if shes 12 or not. even 12 year olds know to not trust strangers. also shes pretty self centered imo. athy's dad has collapsed, and all jeanette thought abt was if the princess greeted her not or if the princess liked her as family. like ok sure if i admit that she has trauma that still doesnt give her an excuse to be so unsympathetic towards athy. i know that jeanette is being used but her whole personality is just unlikeable imo
Just bc the characters are hot doesnt mean that they are innocent. Jennete is litterally the victim here why are u all hating her. Everyoje in this novel arw grown adult except Jennette. Lucas, athy, claude, and his brother ar all adults remember that. And how old is jennete? 12? All that shes feeling rn is confusion and shes torn bc her family are figjting when she doesnt know whats it about. No ones telling her whats happening so how would she know? Except think about the positive. Bc we know whats happening to athy we sympathize with her but does jennete know? No. Isnt she the most pitiful? Her fathers using her, she thought claude was her father and was excited but wasnt, she thought she could have a family but athy isnt telling her the truth, the guy that raised her isnt close to her and the guy whos supposed to be her fiance is in love with her cousin (〜￣△￣)〜 think about that before hating her. As we all say. Dont side with another when u dont know the other sides story
