There's a slight 'tisk' in my voice As I look through the new Beboy images on tumblr. Why does takaba have to have such effeminate outfits on? Too many frills and dresses for my taste. He's never had cross dressing tendencies in the past and honestly I think his character would be pissed wearing something frilly. It's not canon. If it was, I'd be fine with it, but it's not and I cringe.

Of course it's not canon. Akihito is a freaking vampire bunny rabbit, for crap's sake! This is just sensei having a little fun celebrating her anniversary. The woman's more than entitled to a little play time and whiny fans need to belt up already.

Also, if you look at the cover illustrations throughout the entire run of the manga (BeBoy covers as well, not just the tankobon covers) and the splash pages, you'll see that sensei has always leaned towards the rococo and effeminate in Akihito's clothing and often hangs outrageous jewelry on him when she draws him outside of the story. So she does one single full page drawing and a couple of paper doll outfits that are just an expansion of a bent she has already repeatedly expressed. Calm down.

I'm not talking about the bunny dojinshi, I'm talking about the Alice in wonderland dress, and the one-too-many frills wedding tuxedo, and the thigh high nurse outfit. It's too much and I'm rolling my eyes at the over abundance of fem on him. I liked the bunny-vamp story, but it was very short.

I know what you're talking about. You're talking about one single Alice in Wonderland fantasy drawing and two paper doll outfits. Hardly enough to get so sniffy about. It's just a little fun. It's not like Aki is suddenly going to become a cross dresser, that the next stop that helicopter makes is a Lolita boutique. The Aki within the story won't change. Lighten up.

Seeing Akihito dressed in women's/effeminate clothing is not my thing either. A case could be made for the frills on his tuxedo though, since it was a trend from the Renaissance era to the 1800s.

    But yeah, I prefer a non-girly Akihito (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

What's the fun in creating a fictional character if you can't be mean to it once in a while and dress it in outrageus clothing? Better doing that to a fictional character than to your own kids, LOL. At least you'll know the character will not be psychologically traumatized.

I just felt like commiserating with Micheleazure. I did roll my eyes at Akihito in Wonderland, but I get it. It's all in fun. However...

QUIT BULLYING AKIHITO, SENSEI! Do you do the same to Asami? NO. Do you know why? BECAUSE HE'S A SCARY GUY.

Although... Asami did look rather nice in his bunny ears and pince-nez, but that's beside the point!

*waits for people to google "pince-nez"*

Even the ONE TIME you girly-fied him, he STILL looked scary! Or, maybe the word I'm looking for is "fierce"...

I know, they're Yamane-sensei's characters to do what she pleases. See, I would choose a much different way to torture them, like--

Never mind. I'm gonna save that one ψ(`∇´)ψ

Cats are cute fiends from hell, and if you dress one up you deserve whatever happens to you. Cats are much better than babies and if you harm a cat, either karma or I will find you and teach you new meanings of "unpleasant."

Torturing fictional characters and the occasional person is still fine.

You gotta love, though, that Akihito doesn't seem to care as long as he gets cake. He has his priorities in order.

(I have not posted this much ever in one day. Can you tell I am laid up in bed with nothing to do? Going to stop now.)

I didn't really mind the ruffle coat tails. It was the clipped in veil that I 'too much-ed' at.
