Hyesung and his trauma

I find it sad and kinda lonely that many are making light of what's happening to Hyesung.
I have a baby and Im a single parent.
I can relate to whats happening to Hyesung about not being able to come back fast... What he experienced was TRAUMA. It is not an easy experience that can be shake off with so many people around you.
Psychiatrist are even involved with this kind of problems.
Please remember this: HYESUNG was abandoned, he was forced to witness those abused, he also experience the FEAR of being SOLD by his own father... if he was not - do you think he will stop his study and pretend to be stupid?
Many are saying: you have Byul and Dojin - - - but please think about this... what happened to him was HIS PAST TURNING UP AND FORCING HIM to WITNESS THOSE FLASHES OF MEMORIES again...
I experienced the same thing...I told my family - I need time alone... my child was crying because I cannot see her... I close the door to my world for weeks.
I need to sort out my world before I can come to my child's world and be a parent.
It was hard...
I have to face so many things and fears...
That's why what Hyesung is experiencing is not so simple.
Just like others - DEPRESSION is real and not a myth.
The only thing that's holding Hyesung is Dojin and Byul - they are the strings that holds Hyesung to not commit suicide or falling into the deep abyss of nothingness.
So please take time as well to understand Hyesung and not hate him.
If you were in his shoes and experienced all of that... will you be able to say YEAH IM OKAY.
Give yourself time to heal. That's what happening to Hyesung as well... He needs to process everything...
I really wish that the mother will finally be the catalyst that will break the pain of the past.

I totally, completely agree. And I admire for sharing a little piece of your story. And if I may add, I don't think the guy wanted to make him feel guilty about byul, I just think that he considers him a good friend and it hurts him so bad to see his friend suffering. In a way i think that he thought that by giving him Byul, he would remember that even though he has a horrible past, his present isn't so bad. But it's not that easy, like you say, he just experienced the suffering from reliving a TRAUMA, is normal that he acts like that, I would be more concerned if the didn't have a reaction like that. IT JUST PAINS ME SEEING HIM LIKE THAT. Although I do like that the family of Dojin know a little more about him, than just the guy who is always so happy and cheerful and is good at math. But it wasn't the best circumstances to share his past. IT REALLY JUST PAINS ME. POOR GUY, AND WHAT A SCUMBAG OF DAD. And even if his mom is there to apologize in a way, it doesn't make up the fact that she abandoned him with his dad in that abusive home, and that she's a terrible mother.

thanks :) who im referring to on my comment was not Heesoo but the PEOPLE who are commenting on this saying that Hyesung should man up or so many things like poor Byul and he is so selfish...

Heesoo is an epitome of a wonderful best friend.

He feels the pain as well and what he was doing was trying to make Hyesung snap out of it... but it hurts him as well...

Heesoo from the beginning is involved with Hyesung... They are like brothers...

What im sad and feel frustrated are those people commenting that Hyesung is selfish and that he is being unfair...

What's unfair are those people who are forcing him and not giving him time to heal and adjust...

You're absolutely right, and when it comes to your mental health, is not something that heals overnight, there isn't a cure like taking a pill but TIME. TIME IS ESSENTIAL AND GIVING YOURSELF SPACE TO THINK. That's what Hyesung is trying to do.
