Well he’s a sultan so he’s nowhere close to Korea.. some I’d just guess he’s dark skinned because of the character he’s supposed to portray.
Because this drama is not set in Korea... If what you mean but then again it's just a bunch of drawings that people barely take seriously.
Well, I’m not just talking about this manhwa but about other manhwas as well. Dunno just thought that maybe the beauty standard in Korea has shifted, or became a lot more inclusive to poc as well? I’m just being a nerd and want to know the sociology aspect of it lol
So I’m just curious. It seems like dark skinned male leads are becoming popular or trendy in korean manhwas nowadays esp in pornhwas. But I thought they don’t like dark skinned people there and they sometimes discriminate against them? I mean just look at all those efforts they put to achieve white porcelain skin. I’m not complaining or anything, in fact i’m actually glad that they’re being appreciated now. Just really curious with this recent phenomenon
