you know I think it would be more believable if like at the start when he got found out they start fighting and he would lose and the ML would let him get away and after that every time they meet, they fight but MC would still lose so he need to come up more ways to kill him so because of that this would be more reasonable that he hasn't killed him yet because after all that sex and talking they had I would've been able to kill him by now by idk throwing knives at him, strangle him to death and more but that's just my opinion
