Kang was saying that Ahn isn't getting as much out of the relationship as he (Kang) is. Basically saying he thinks Ahn is better than him. It's very cute.
He said that Yiyoung was getting the short end of the stick meaning He was getting a better partner than Yiyoung was. (Aka he was feeling guilty and like he wasn't hoid enough to date Yiyoung)
