ok, first if all, I have to admit I didn't fully understand what's going on myself, but I 'll tell you what I think I got so far...
I think the pig was the original bunny but he was cursed because he ate a piece of his brother's ear, so he turned into a pig and his brother's appearance changed as well, to look a little bit like the original bunny. so both of them changed because of the curse.
after the little brother prayed on the lake fairies and did the ritual to break the curse, his older brother (aka the original bunny) came out of the ground at his true form (where the younger brother previously buried him when he was still at his pig form, as a part of the ritual) and the younger brother also changed back to his original image.
now, I think the black hair guy is the oldest brother's lover and he just mistook the younger one for his boyfriend (because the younger brother, while cursed looked like the older one).
also the foreigner looks to be the dark-starry skinned boy's love interest. probably we will find out at the next chapters...
so, so far, I think we will have three pairings: the original bunny with the black hair dude, the younger brother with the frog and the dark-starry skinned boy with the foreigner. and I think we should wait to see who will be the lover of the mysterious fisherman (●'◡'●)ﾉ
well, I don't know if my post makes any sense or helps you in any way but I hope it does :)

actually, now that I am reading it again I think that the two brothers after the got cursed they just exchanged bodies. the bunny became the pig and vice versa. so the black hair guy was hugging and kissing his lover body, but it was the pig's soul in it (does even that make sense???). and in the end when they turned back to their real bodies, the younger one didn't look like a pig anymore, but just like a cute kid with pig ears (maybe that's because in the meantime he grew older, I guess???)

yuki here - i've read through the whole book once and i'm still lost (haha), so i don't blame all this confusion. i may not have implied it strongly enough in my translation but ometto's brothers are all dead, the rabbit he came across was a stranger. not brothers :)

i mentioned this on my tumblr too but it's probably best to read this series in one go when it's done (we're working on it!! T.T), there's too many holes in the first few chapters and the main story starts in ch 3.

also nii doesn't get shipped with anyone, but you find out more about coco next chapter. :3

So it is a happy ending for everyone! nice... I am kind of relieved! Well, at least it looks that way... cause Coco is crying (an unrequited love for Owen maybe?) but he still has someone next to him who seems like he really cares for Coco...
But if Nii's character isn't much explained, do we know from whom he gets letters from? If not, there is a ray of hope that the letters are from unkown lover, no???
