The first character in Xingchengs name means star (the second is journey?) and in chapter 19 he gets touched/emotional about the birthday necklace bc it has stars on it (representing his name).
it’s even better while xingcheng’s name (partly) means star, youming’s means sun (or at least sounds like it) and the book is called the star around the sun

it’s even cuter when later in the book xc gets a tattoo with the sun and stars symbolising their love
