I think Arima think that Kaneki is "his" aka he think he own Kaneki whole being right now. He's the one to defeat Kaneki, he could kill Kaneki if he wanted too at that time when Kaneki is the weakest after the long battle at the end of previous Tokyo Ghoul. He let Kaneki alive because Kaneki intrigued him or he feel that Kaneki is useful to him. Forgive or not forgive doesn't matter, Arima won't let Kaneki go, like, EVER, I think. CCG and Arima would rather lose Hinami than losing Kaneki. Capturing Kaneki will be the ghoul investigator, CCG, and Arima top priority. Kaneki won't pass this obstacle without a scratch. Maybe we'll see Kaneki end up in Cochlea next or Kaneki reunite with his friend, The Re: crew.

Im so confuse...with Arima action.
I means, he so kind with kaneki, he even bring books for Kaneki eventhough Kaneki is a prisoner....like....Kaneki is going to die because he refuse to eat but then Arima give him a hand.
People call Arima do bad things to Kaneki, well Kaneki is in Ghoul side, so I see why he did that. But Arima also TRY to bring Kaneki to human side too. Soooooo this is gonna be interesting, since Keneki or HAISE just betray Arima trust, so-fucking-hard.
Im not sure if Arima gonna forgive him and give him second chance again, which is why Kaneki worry I assume, but now the sick/angst old Kaneki is back....damn...
