I do agree with you. Even though he’s a great father he was a terrible lover. The fact he couldn’t give the love of his life/mother of his child his last name or marry her is telling. Granted the Grandfather said no, it’s just my opinion that I’m not sure how hard he tried to fight it or at all. To me he’s too old to be this timid and needs to see how his behavior effects his daughter.
Well, the older sister is right. As much as he's cute and a good father, but he's a coward and can't even defend himself.
